    Industrial Tour to Boost Manufacturing

In February 2025, Senator Owan‑Enoh embarked on a three-day Industrial Tour across Lagos and Ogun States. He visited key facilities like Sunflag Nigeria, GB Foods, Berger Paints, Friesland Campina, Mojec Group, Coleman Wire & Cable, EPAIL, and Mikano Industries. The tour aimed to strengthen government-industry partnerships and identify challenges hampering industrial growth.

    Launch of the Industrial Revolution Work Group (IRWG)

Recognizing the need for focused intervention, he inaugurated the Industrial Revolution Work Group, a multi-stakeholder “war room” co-chaired with the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN). IRWG is tasked with diagnosing industrial bottlenecks and executing practical solutions.

    Reviving Ailing Industries & Strategic Policy Focus

At a June 2025 technical session themed “From Activities to Outcomes: Driving Industrial Renaissance,” Owan‑Enoh emphasized transitioning from rhetoric to measurable industrial progress. He reiterated the importance of IRWG as a results-driven platform and affirmed that the revised National Industrial Policy would empower local content, financing, and infrastructure.

    Advocating for “Made-in-Nigeria” and Industry Self-Reliance

Senator Owan‑Enoh has been vocal about overcoming Nigeria’s dependence on foreign machinery, warning that continued reliance risks industrial dignity. At the 2025 Nigeria Manufacturing & Equipment/Nigerian Raw Materials (NME/NIRAM) Expo, he likened over-reliance on outdated foreign imports to a form of neo-colonialism, calling for local equipment manufacturing and technology adaptation.

    Pushing for Electric Vehicles and Green Mobility

At the launch of NEV Motors’ EV T6 buses, he positioned electric vehicles as central to Nigeria’s sustainable industrial strategy. He emphasized that investing in EVs today is critical for achieving clean, futuristic mobility. He referenced NADDC’s plan to boost local vehicle content (40%), produce one million vehicles, and increase EV production by 30%.

    Promoting Sustainability through the Coca-Cola Packaging Hub

Owan‑Enoh praised Coca-Cola Nigeria’s launch of its Packaging Collection Hub in Apapa, calling it a significant step toward aligning industrial output with environmental impact and sustainability.
